and its members have run workshops in a wide range of settings:
Professional actor training
Educational theatre work
Corporate training events
Actor training includes improvisation and acting classes at Guildhall
School of Music and Drama, Mountview Theatre Academy and Brunel
University. We have also run improvisation workshops at the Adelaide
Festival in Australia and mask workshops for the Gate Theatre in
London. Co-Artistic Director Christopher Heimann teaches improvisation
and the Michael Chekhov acting technique at the Royal Academy of
Dramatic Art in London.
Educational theatre work includes devised productions with 6 –
11 year-olds for the Young Vic Schools Theatre Festival, a devised
production with 14 – 16 year-olds for Battersea Arts Centre,
drama workshops with youths at the risk of social exclusion, and
storytelling workshops and short film making with Big Issue vendors
for the Big Issue Foundation in London.
Corporate training events have included communication and creativity
techniques for clients such as Orange. Christopher Heimann is currently
running a series of events for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs
(for Sparknow). Following the merger of Inland Revenue and Customs
& Excise, these events include themes of Teamwork and Collaboration,
Performance Focus and Accountability, Customer Focus and Sustained
Commitment to Change.
